Molecular brain imaging has been a focal point of Dr. Frost and BioMolecular Imaging for decades. This extends from the first imaging of the brain opiate receptor by his research group to the many applications of this new technology in psychiatric and neurological disorders to the development and investigation of a myriad of additional brain molecular probes for diverse CNS disorders.
In the area of commercial development, Dr. Frost has similarly been an active presence for many pharmaceutical industry partners; first-time biotech companies embarking on molecular imaging ventures; bringing new molecular imaging probes to FDA approval; and helping launch new agents by chairing company advisory boards and educating the clinic physicians.
Dr. Frost is a board-certified radiologist and nuclear medicine physician and has a PhD in nuclear and radiochemistry. Accordingly, he is capable of achieving the first high-level evaluation for any new project and then helping develop the in-depth components that immediately follow. When subdomain expertise is needed, Dr. Frost can draw on a long list of specialists in radiochemistry, physics, imaging CROs, and others and bring them to the table.
